Sagebrush
Lizard. A small lizard, about 2 to 2.5 inches long, with a gray
or brown back usually with blotches or stripes on its sides. The males
have blue belly patches, the females are sometimes orange around the neck
when breeding. It prefers areas of open ground with scattered low sagebrush
and is found among piñon and juniper trees.
